Juicing is on the rise! An all too familiar scene is Los Angelenos hitting up the juice bar post workout in their yoga gear and big sunglasses. But the truth is juicing doesn’t have to be a fad. It’s most likely going to enhance your quality of life unlike the other fad diets and trends out there.
Everyday I get myself a juice either pre workout to energize or post workout to revitalize my body with nutrients that I may have depleted during my workout. I usually get a cold pressed juice but if I’m at my gym, Equinox, I take advantage of the convenience of the delicious juices at EarthBar located in all Equinox gyms. I order the vegetables blended and juiced in their blender.
Of course, nothing is more convenient than juicing in the comfort of your home, but let’s face it, it can get pretty messy. I also find that when I buy the organic vegetables necessary to get the maximum benefit from juicing, it gets pricey too. Throw in the cost of the blender and it will have you thinking twice about do it yourself juicing. To save all of that hassle, I just hop over to my local organic juice bar by my home and let them do all of the work. It taste just as good!
